A collaboration between Kelwin Palmer, Sam Basu, Tim Coles and myself. This was an installation in Treignac, Southern France, to house a project by sound artist Tessa Joose, as part of a local art event.

We designed a simple pentagonal cone construction to house small speakers, using lasercut ply sheets and steel brackets. We worked with the principle of directing sound to create an intimite and changing sound-scape. We had two sites, one inside a barn and one in a woods nearby. In the barn we created a curved array of cones that projected the sound into the centre of the space, while in the woods we sought to create a slightly more intimate listening experience, where people could only hear the sounds directly under the cone.

Thanks goes to Tim for the awesome photos.
